who is listening?

You are the most informed listener to your own experience, except when you aren’t. Good news: the potential to hear and see yourself clearly is new again in each moment. It is my honor to assist you in re-familiarizing yourself with what it actually feels like to listen to your whole experience and clearly see it, inclusive of the full range of potential appearance or desirability.  Because this approach to your own experience is authentic and brave in each moment it is practiced, it becomes more possible to live in a manner which feels consistently fulfilling. It is possible at any time to practice sensing whatever is arising from within, in each moment. The more you do so, the more likely you are to keep doing so. Your sessions are personal and unique to you, so that you have a non-judgmental listener alongside and a compassionate environment in which to find again and again, within: who is talking; what is being said; who is listening; what do you hear?

Your body, including your brain and emotions, is a highly sophisticated and constantly engaged indicator of experiences. Understandably, that doesn’t mean you always want to be the recipient of this information. The information offered by your sensing abilities informs every decision you make and every thought you have. A considerate and careful approach to this ongoing sensory overload is recommended. Non-judgment and acceptance of whatever comes up are always first priority and is the basis for person-centered therapy. Taking a person-centered approach to apply EMDR, Mindfulness-Based, , and Somatic (body-sensing)-informed communication, our sessions will incorporate your natural resource of mindful self-compassion. Each session is a unique step in re-engaging all of your natural resources to assist you in living within a sense of sureness and ease.  The more it is implemented, the sense that it is possible to move easily through difficult times down the road becomes your lived reality.
